Star Wars Empire vs Star Trek: The Borg

Considering the size of these two universes, I will give the brief explaination as opposed to the long drawn out version. The Borg would crush the Empire if we base our stats and armadas on the movies and tv shows respectively. The Borg ships run shields which can adapt to a frequency and be immmune to it.. Lasers in Star Wars do not seem to have the capability to change frequencies so hence Star Destroyers will be falling from the sky.

The other interesting twist would be if the Borg somehow assimilated the strong force users on the Dark Side such as Darth Vader or the Emperor. Would all the Borg then we able to use the Force? Next thing you know, all the Borg drones will be throwing ships at their enemies and invading people's minds with "We are the Borg. Resistance is Futile. You will be assimilated."
